These are the largest four- footed predators on Earth. There are no exact numbers concerning the population of these animals. There are thought to be 22.000- 27.000 animals of this species and about 6 percent of them located in Alaska. You can approach the polar bear population for taking photo, but hunting is strictly prohibited.
